Artisan-Crafted Architectural Glass
Art and utility. Craft and engineering. Light and opacity. Glass is one of the few artistic mediums where such opposites are married. GlassArt Design has been an innovator in custom glass products from our home in Minneapolis, and across the country for over 30 years. For us, form and function are not competing imperatives, but rather design challenges that drive us to more creative and artful solutions. Our work ranges from one-of-a-kind art pieces to shower enclosures to commercial installations, and all can be installed by our highly skilled in-house installation team.

Residential Glass Products
Glass makes a striking statement in a variety of home settings, while also serving as a highly functional building material. Stunning metal grid glass walls or windows, remarkable patterned glass shower enclosures, and elegant glass countertops and back painted glass backsplashes are just a few potential glass applications.

What Our Clients Say:
“The guys installed the back splash this morning in record time and it looks gorgeous!! I’m so thrilled with the final product. Let me know the final payment – I will put it on my Amex card.
Just want to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed working with everyone on your team, from the Owner who helped me pick out the design to everyone in between. Your staff has been above and beyond on ideas and customer service. I realize our home project was small compared to your million dollar projects, but felt just as important. I wish your business continued success. Thank you so much! “
– Julie Fontaine – Jim Kreitz
A brief note to say how pleased we are with the glass shades your company made for us. The detail and effort that went into making each of the logo panes is evident. The final product looks great in our space and we will enjoy it for many years to come! Jeff and I wanted to thank you for making our vision come to life. Please accept this as our thank you for a job well done.
– All the best
I want to take a minute to compliment your craftsmen on their work to replace the beveled glass on my old grandmother’s clock face. You might remember that the top edge of one piece was fluted so it had to be sent out to a gentleman who bevels custom shapes by hand. His work is just beautiful there isn’t a flaw in it. One of my hobbies is to study medieval churches in Europe, and his work matches anything I see there. Please thank all involved for me. I couldn’t be happier.
– Chris Hartnett
“So, recently I dropped off some cabinet doors to have glass installed in them. Your company provided a superior product (the first time) sooner than promised. The price was reasonable and the service was provided with genuine smile. You have no idea how rare this has become in America today, so thank you.”
– Michael Palkowitsch
“Thanks again for your help! I searched high and low for a replacement trim and glass for my outdoor recessed light, but was unsuccessful. Then I decided to refinish the trim and get a glass insert cut, but again was unsuccessful until I found Glass Art Design.
I am so thankful for your help in completing my lighting project.”
